I live in Hastings on Hudson with my wife Felice who is retired from the fashion industry. Just recently I became a New State Certified EMT and serve as one of the EMTs for the Hastings Volunteer Ambulance Corps. We are very busy, averaging 2 calls a day.

Felice and I also have a home on the Gulf coast of Florida, a few miles north of Naples, in Estero where I indulge my passion for bass fishing. Our son Jesse is 33 and lives in Boston with his girlfriend Nicole. Jesse enjoys fishing with his father and we’ve traveled as far north as the Arctic Circle and down to Costa Rica in search of the big ones. Jesse and Nicole are frequent visitors to Hastings and to our home in Estero.

I still maintain a practice in Hastings specializing in children who have disabilities and I’m professor and Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and former chairman of the Department of Special Education at New Jersey City University (part of the NJ State University system-where I have worked for the past 25 years). For my entire career I have been very active in the education field and have been fortunate to have received many US Department of Education Office of Special Education grant awards providing scholarships to train special educators. In 2004 I created the Graduate School of Education for the Washington Post Company’s Kaplan University online.

Hi Gang:

Just want to bring you up to date. I am married to Felice and we have one son, Jesse who is a senior at Keene State College in New Hampshire. Felice is an executive with a dress manufacturer in New York City.

I am a psychologist and have a Ph.D. in psychology and special education. I am also Professor and Chairman of the Department of Special Education at New Jersey City University. For the past five or six years-certain facets of my work have enabled me to do a lot of traveling around the United States

We have a home in Hastings and a home in the Historic District of Key West FL. We really love it there. I get to do a lot of fishing and Felice and I have made some really interesting friends. My Dad still lives in Peekskill and I frequently travel there to visit. The town is so different…but I have lots of nice memories.
