Febuary, 2009

Fellow Classmates,
I am wiriting to you from Charleston, South Carolina where I am enjoying my retirement years with my beautiful wife (Maureen Sialiano-Jessup). Maureen and I married in 1981 and in 1987 Maureen gave birth to our son, Michael Douglas Jessup.

In 1994 I moved my wife and son, Michael from our home on Carhart Ave in Peekskill to "sunny" Surfside Beach, South Carolina. We lived in Surfside Beach for seven years, loving every minute. In 2001, we moved from Surfside Beach to Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina (right outside of Charleston). My wife and I still live in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and our son Michael is a "Cadet" at The Citadel (The Military College of South Carolina), we are extremely proud of Michael attending The Citadel.

My wife Maureen, is a High School Principal and has served a total of 28 years in the educational profession. Apparently she loves what she does and never gives up an opportunity to travel as she is frequently invited to speak at Conferences on Educational Law Practices. I am hoping that she will slow down a little and join me in retirement and playing golf, but I don't think Maureen will because she loves her work and still enjoys what she does each and everyday. Perhaps she will retire but not to play golf, Maureen is a tennis player and plays on two local tennis teams in her spare time.

I am also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren. My older two sons and two daughters and their children (my grandkids) all live in the North still.

My very best wishes to all my classmates of good old PHS.

Sincerely,
Doug Jessup
